Book

I've been working on some pictures for my book. I had a big sort out of my folder too. 

Doodle art

I have been working on this doodle art. It is looking beautiful.

Ti Rakau

We made our own Maori Sticks to use for a Ti Rakau game. It takes lots of co-ordination when you are using them with someone else but it's lots of fun!

Veggie Pasta Bake

We made a yummy veggie pasta bake in cooking today! I chopped the mushrooms and stirred the ingredients together. Delicious!!!!

Music and singing.

I am loving learning new chords on my ukulele.

Maori culture.

Learning Maori words while I listen to my friends singing and just having a wonderful time.

Poi

I enjoyed doing something different with wool for a change and made some Poi with pink and white wool! Pretty! 

Music

This is week two of learning 4 chords on the ukulele, boy it's harder than i thought but I am determined to learn them.

Finger painting

Today I took a break from knitting to do some finger painting. It felt really funny!

Music session

This week in Music I learnt 3 chords on the ukulele, C, D minor and F. I will need to practice lots but I will get there.

Cooking

This month in cooking we made delicious Jaffa omelettes

Knitted cushion cover

I knitted this cushion cover I am really pleased with how it turned out.

Glasses

My glasses, for close up work, broke this week and so they are now held together with tape until I go out with the Girls Group to buy some new ones! I rely on them to do my knitting and poetry writing!

Birthday

This week I had a Birthday. My sisters came for a visit and bought in a cake and snacks to share. I got a new phone and a beautiful bunch of flowers.

Making homemade modelling clay

Here I am making modelling clay for the centre to use. I used my hands to mix it all up. It felt soft and sticky. I chose to make it pink cos I like that colour. 

Yummy Quiche

I helped to make a cheese and onion quiche. It smelled and tasted so delicious. 

Crocheting

Here I am busy at work on my crochet hats and headbands for little baby's and toddlers. I really like making them and they look so cute!

This week I have been working on my new poetry book.

Cooking

In cooking we made mini quiches with ham, potato, veggies and eggs. I stirred the mixture and helped put it in the muffin trays. After we got to take some home to eat. They were really yum!
